We love how Charlize Theron has been redefining herself!

The Oscar winner isn't content to be some guy's leading lady, so lately we've seen her as an evil witch in Huntsman, a novelist in Young Adult, and a hard-driving post-apocalyptic warrior in Mad Max: Fury Road.

Now, playing the villain in the upcoming Fast 8, she's taking on Vin Diesel and his entire franchise, which shared the pic (above), writing:

She even has a riddick-ulous name! LOVE it! But will she make our list..?

Charlize Theron Appears Absolutely Miserable In A Forced & Awkward Group Photo With Ex Sean Penn At Cannes

If you've ever had a bitter breakup, than you know how Charlize Theron must feel right now.

On Friday, Charlize had to undergo probably one of the most awkward and uncomfortable moments of her life — posing in a group photo with her ex Sean Penn.

Unfortunately for Ms. Theron, the super weird moment was inevitable considering she starred in Penn's directorial effort The Last Face while they were hot and heavy last year. We guess the two didn't consider what would happen at the film's Cannes premiere if they broke up…

While the actress mainly posed with other members of the cast, she was ultimately forced into a group photo with her ex. Luckily for the beauty, her costars created some distance between her and Sean.

Phew! Way to help out a girl in need, Javier Bardem and Adèle Exarchopoulos!

Despite the space between them, C.T. looks like she wants to get the f*ck out of there ASAP. We can't even help but notice that the momma's head is tilted away from the poppa — the shade is real, y'all!

Hmm… we guess that interview in which the blonde claimed there was no bad blood in her split was a lie. These two are clearly NOT okay!

Somehow amidst all the awkwardness (the two did NOT speak), the celeb managed to look FLAWLESS the entire time. We're loving her pale pink dress perfectly tousled hair, and bold lip!

So, would YOU have walked the carpet if you were Charlize?

Chloë Sevigny is as outspoken in real life as she is in her art.

At Variety's Cannes Film Festival panel on Wednesday, the Boys Don't Cry actress rehashed multiple incidences of directors making advances towards her and went on to criticize the rampant sexism in Hollywood, which she supported with many poignant real-life examples.

Unfortunately for Sevigny, who just made her first directorial debut with the short-film Kitty, she experienced one too many moments of degradation with men who seemed okay with "crossing the line". It's sadly an issue that seems all too common in Hollywood these days…

Recalling those disappointing situations, the artist revealed:

Charlize Theron Clarifies That Controversial 'Pretty People' Comment!

Remember when Charlize Theron vented to British GQ about how hard it is to be so "gorgeous" in Hollywood (lol)?

Well, apparently that "pretty people get turned away" comment was taken out of context!

Related: Charlize Clears The Air About 'Ghosting' Sean Penn

When asked about the controversy on The Huntsman: Winter's War red carpet, the 40-year-old told Access Hollywood:

"It was such an incredible misquote. I'm somewhat shocked by how I got so misquoted. What I was really trying to say was people always ask me why I play so many characters that are so deconstructed, and my point with that was that how many characters really are there out there for a woman wearing a gown? You have to kind of play real people."

Still not really sure if this clears everything up, but at least it makes sense to her! Sounds like she's still saying there are less roles for typically pretty people… but we digress.

The former model continued:

"Context is everything. And if somebody doesn't really get that or it doesn't translate, people can really kind of read stuff so wrongly."

She later told ExtraTV:

"I have always been honest that when I was a model 20 years ago it was hard to walk into a [casting] room, and I had to prove myself. Today I'm so lucky that I'm in a place that I don't have to. But I'm grateful for that, too, because it gives you character and it makes you who you are, and you don't want everything to kind of come easy."

At least she's grateful for those incredible good looks, right?!
