Lance Armstrong Talks Triathlon While Promoting LIVESTRONG Fitness Equipment

Lance Fitness

Lance Armstrong may be living stronger than ever before!

The 7-time Tour de France winner was in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday to promote his LIVESTRONG Fitness Equipment and shared he was in the middle of training for his third triathlon since retiring.

Armstrong finished 5th in his first triathlon in 22 years after hopping off professional cycling circuit, then 23rd at the World XTERRA Championships in Maui. Talking about his most recent quest, he told sources:

“I don’t know if I would say I’m preparing for another career, but I’m definitely preparing for a triathlon.”

While in town, the athlete — who was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1996 — talked to other sources about how fighting and beating the disease has changed him, explaining:

"It certainly changed me as a person, it changed me as a parent, as a friend. You don't take anything for granted, especially those first couple of years. Every sunset becomes the best sunset you've ever seen, every traffic jam is absolutely nothing."

On the flip side, he admits that those feelings don't necessarily last forever, continuing:

"But as you get 10, 15 years down the road, I have to admit… that impatience comes back… you start to lose that crystal clear perspective you used to have in those first years after, when you have no idea what's going to happen and you're just waiting to know, ‘Am I going to be given life back?'"

Completely understandable! It's nice to get such a unique and honest perspective on the subject matter though.

The Grey's Anatomy star and cycling enthusiast wasn't afraid to show off his colorful biking gear as he rode through Malibu with his wife on Thursday.

He's no newb to the sport either. In fact, Patrick recently raised $1 million for charity by holding a 2-day cycling challenge in Maine, in which participants biked up to 100 miles!

We're glad to see he not only uses his passion to enrich his own life, but other's lives as well!

Arnold Schwarzenegger Goes For A Ride With His Bicycle Gang

Arnold Schwarzenegger bike gang

It looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger may be trying to start his own Wild Hogs biker gang — with bicycles.

Pedaling a bike is much quieter, healthier, and better for the environment than riding a motorcycle, so this is one gang we can support!

The former governor and action star took a ride through Santa Monica with his entourage on Sunday morning before breakfast.

Not a bad way to start out the day!

Kate Hudson Supports Bikes!

Kate Hudson Biking

Kate Hudson supports the gas-free alternative to city travel — the bicycle!

She was spotted zipping around London on her bike!

More cities should create biking initiatives — London just introduced a bunch of rental bikes for the city!

Biking is also becoming a kind of trend with celebs as well:

But whatever the location, it seems Kate is not the only celeb foregoing the limousine option in favour of greener way of getting around.

Last month actress Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted on separate outings, trundling along the streets of Los Angeles. And Kirsten Dunst and Katy Perry was sighted in New York last month too, clearly having a wheel-y good time.

We think this is fabulous! Pave the way, guys!

Bikes don't require gas, they're quieter, and they'll keep us in shape! This is definitely a movement we could get behind!
