The Democratic candidate didn't shut down the possibility of appointing the current POTUS to the Supreme Court if she were to be elected.
When a voter asked about potentially filling one of the three open SCOTUS spots with Obama at a campaign event in Iowa on Tuesday, the 68-year-old responded:
"Wow, what a great idea. No one has ever suggested that to me, I love that, wow. He may have a few other things to do but I tell you that's a great idea. I mean, he's brilliant, he can set forth an argument and he was a law professor. So he's got all the credentials, but we would have to get a Democratic Senate to get him confirmed."
But would Obama be up for becoming a justice after his eight years in office??
It's hard to say, but the former constitutional law professor at the University of Chicago Law School didn't seem to be eager to fill the role back in 2014 when talking with the New Yorker:
"When I got out of law school, I chose not to clerk. Partly because I was an older student, but partly because I don't think I have the temperament to sit in a chamber and write opinions. I love the law, intellectually. I love nutting out these problems, wrestling with these arguments. I love teaching. I miss the classroom and engaging with students. But I think being a justice is a little bit too monastic for me. Particularly after having spent six years and what will be eight years in this bubble, I think I need to get outside a little bit more."
A year later, the 54-year-old had similar feelings in an interview with Bill Simmons in November of 2015:
"I don't have the temperament to sit in relative solitude and just opine and write from the bench. I want to be in the action a little bit more."
Maybe Hillz could change his mind! You never know!

Demi Lovato loves Hillary Clinton — and even campaigned for the presidential hopeful in Iowa this week — but the Confident singer also knows exactly what it would mean if we had a Donald Trump presidency!
After posting some photos of herself with the former Secretary of State out on the campaign trail yesterday, Demi waded into her own Instagram comments to drop this AH-Mazing nugget of truth on a Trump supporter:
Looks like the race for president may have a new entry!
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is apparently seriously considering running as an independent candidate for president, according to sources that revealed the news on Saturday morning!
The 73-year-old is apparently having aides look at ballot access issues as they start to consider whether to draw up papers to run!
Apparently, Bloomberg believes
Hillary is getting the support of so many stars!
The Confident singer joined the presidential hopeful at an event in Iowa City, Iowa on Thursday, where she performed three of her songs in front of 2,000 people while talking up Hillary the whole time!
Lovato had glowing things to say about Clinton, telling those in attendance:
Hey, Bill Clinton — we'll call you if we need you!
Hillary Clinton is working hard on her run to the White House, and if she actually does win in November, the question many people are asking is, well, what would the current president do with a former president by her side?
The answer is… not as much as you'd think!
During Sunday night's Democratic presidential debate, the former Secretary of State was asked about what her husband's role might be in advising her in office.
