But, who's watching the kid?!

After the birth of their son Sparrow on Wednesday, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden each took to their Twitter to publicly express their love for themselves their child.

"What a great day to come back on Twitter," Nicole tweets. "Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I love my family!!"

While Joel made it about him stating, "1st day of his life & my son is already a trending topic on twitter. That's right son, ur just like your old man."

Lil' Sparrow is only 2 days old and already over exposed!

Looks like he'll have daddy to thank!

As we mentioned earlier, Nicole Richie was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital to give birth to her second baby.

And now we have some happy news to share. Richie has given birth - to a healthy baby BOY!

Little Harlow has a baby brother to play with!

Richie's people posted the happy news on her site, saying:

"In the middle of night, the very early hours of September 9, 2009 Sparrow James Midnight Madden was born to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes."

Hopefully we'll see some pictures of little Sparrow soon.

So exciting!!!

Sources confirm that Nicole Ritchie has finally been admitted to the hospital to give birth to her second child with Joel Madden.

Wonder if it will be a baby brother or sister for little Harlow?

We love when celebs feel the need to share the deets of their lives…especially when they're not even old yet!

On that note, Good Charlotte frontman and Nicole Richie's babydaddy Joel Madden is working on a memoir!

"It would be about, mostly, the big changes in my life: Kids, relationships, moving to L.A…the big life changes that I've gone through," says the "author" of this upcoming literary masterpiece.

But, who knows when or if it will even happen?!

Madden continued, "I'm lightly working on one, but I don't want to put a book out there if it's not actually meaningful. I'm not going to go there unless I can deliver."

What an inspiration!!!

We wanna read a book about a man who lightly works to achieve his goals only to debate if it's even possible!

"If I put a book out, I want it to be something that matters to me," said Joel. "It has to be real, you can't just put a book out, to put a book out."

Oh, yeah?!

If Nicole did it, so can you!

Much like the Jeffersons, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are moving on up!

The couple are leaving their Glendale home in "The Valley" and moving over to this side of the hills, to ritzy part of Beverly Hills.

And the place is gorgeous!

It's a 4 bedroom and 5.5 bathroom house in the Laurel Canyon area. It has a lagoon pool, enormous eat in kitchen, guesthouse/screening theatre, and is completely and privately hidden behind huge gates.

A celebrity paradise indeed.

The couple paid close to $2 million for the property.

We expect that the duo and their growing brood will be very happy there.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are expecting a baby boy in August, according to reports!

"Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and - surprise, surprise - it's blue," a friend close to the couple blabbed to In Touch Weekly.

Nicole is on a blue hued shopping spree too, according to the pal. "[Nicole] recently ordered some plush animal and infant toys from FAO Schwarz, and everything just happens to be blue."

Aww!

Joel Madden moseyed on over to a gym in West Hollywood on Monday and the proud papa is looking more and more fit as the days go on!

Maybe he's bulking up to carry his two tots in the near future with ease?

Looks like Nicole Richie and babydaddy Joel Madden are enjoying their time in our hometown of Miami.

But the two are also there on business.

Wednesday night marked the launch of Nicole's House of Harlow 1960 Jewelry Collection at Ida and Harry at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach.

And, we have to give credit, Richie was looking gorgeous!

As for Madden, we're not sure how we feel about his new look. Those gold chains (on top of everything else) might be a tad TOO MUCH!

Joel Madden went on quite the Twitterant after he and baby Harlow were overwhelmed by paps at the airport in Miami earlier this week!

Said Madden on his official Twitter:

Let me just say shame on any magazine or blog that post pics of us in the miami airport. The photographers were acting like animals.

it was the first time i've ever seen my child scared. Not cool for any parent to see. At least in LA they gave us some space.

These guys were sticking flashes in her face and bumping in to us and yelling. The most unneccessary force i've ever seen.

I get annoyed when people complain about photogs too, i mean leaving clubs and restaraunts you gotta expect it. But this was just wrong

And thats all i'll say about that. I geuss [sic] its a different kind of animal that i will never accept or understand.

Disgusting!

The 'razzi should mind their manners when tots are involved!
