Uh-oh! This is not good!

Joe Francis, who created the Girls Gone Wild series, has slapped Madonna with a cease-and-desist letter over the usage of his franchise name as a title of one her new songs on MDNA, and is threatening legal action if she does not comply to certain terms!

According to the letter, which asserts that the pop icon is trying to get a "free ride on the valuable consumer goodwill and brand recognition" of the Girls Gone Wild trademark, she must negotiate a licensing agreement for it usage, holding accountable the number of times she's already used it, and she must not perform the song during the Super Bowl halftime show!

What?! That last part seems seriously ridiculous!

Apparently, Madge has to answer by 5pm PST today before legal action is taken.

This has got to be one of the most unlikeliest match-ups ever.

Kathy Griffin had one helluva deja vu moment on Thursday while watching Madonna on Anderson.

It turns out her Madgesty was wearing the same leather Gucci dress Kathy wore when she co-hosted CNN's New Year's Eve special with Anderson Cooper!

Kathy immediately tweeted "Bitch stole my look! I hope @Joan_Rivers sees this!!!" and the photo (above).

Not a bad start to her Super Bowl weekend!

Madonna's newest album, MDNA, has reached #1 on iTunes in the U.S. and 34 other countries for pre-sales, including:

So many copies sold in the little time it's been on sale and the people buying it can't even listen to the songs until March 26th! How impressive is that!?

After some paps found David Furnish outside of El Lay's Red O, they asked him if he'd be tuning into the biggest television even of the year.

And wanna know what Elton John's hubby said?? A big fat no!!

But according to him, it's because he just doesn't watch football. But c'mon… we all know people who hate sports still tune in for the halftime show… and everyone will definitely be doing that this year since Madonna's the star!!

Really though, what did we expect?? This is the same man who SLAMMED the Queen of Pop as a desperate narcissist!

Madonna was chatting to Anderson Cooper about how her children Lourdes, Mercy, and David Banda get irritated by the the cameras -- when she put her foot in her mouth!

During the interview (above) the Material Girl says Lourdes had the biggest issue with paparazzi, because:

"My daughter is 15 and cares about how she looks and if she feels like she has a bad hair day or a pimple on her forehead..."

Then the diva tries to cover up the fact that she said her daughter gets pimples on national TV. She nervously blurts:

"I mean she has beautiful skin. I don't know why she ever complains about the way she looks!"

Nice try, but it's too late. She'll get the wrath of Lourdes when she gets home! LOL!!

Clearly, the teen has a lot of power in that penthouse!
