He might be one of the hardest working men in show business right now, but Nick Cannon took some time this morning to sit down with his America's Got Talent co-star, Howard Stern.

Nick was NOT holding anything back today!

When asked about his wife Mariah Carey's on-air fights with Nicki Minaj during their one-and-done season together on American Idol, Nick blames the producers of the show for feeding into their feud and making it worse!

But Nick isn't exactly helping to keep the peace between Mimi and Minajesty. Guess who he thinks would come out on top if things ever got physical? Nick told Howard:

Three of the show's judges departed, too, with the fourth — Keith Urban — reportedly still on his way out.

Even Fox's alternative programming guru Mike Darnell was shown the door!

While other divas like Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj have abandoned ship after American Idol’s season of low ratings, Jennifer Lopez is not phased by the lack of viewers!!!

J.Lo is going against the grain and unlike ALL of the other judges, hopes to return to the Idol judging panel for next season!!

We don’t see how the producers of this flailing show could refuse!
