Macca: Can't See His House From Here

apaul.jpg

Sir Paul McCartney is a little anal. The former Beatle brought beef to the mega search engine, Google, for including his London pad on the Google Maps website.

McCartney complained that his house was in full view when visitors of the site enabled the street view feature and his security team deemed it a safety issue.

Thus the property is no longer viewable and Google announced that now anyone can remove their house from the site by clicking a button.

We hope they are aware that the feature isn't a live feed of the street. It's not like anyone can spy on him using Google!

George Harrison Honored In Hollywood

george_harrison_star.jpg

The Beatles' guitarist George Harrison was posthumously honored in Los Angeles yesterday with a star on Hollywood's infamous Walk of Fame!

Friends and family members of the late guitarist gathered for the ceremony, including widow Olivia, son Dhani, Paul McCartney, Monty Python alum Eric Idle, Tom Hanks, and Tom Petty.

Dhani looks like the spitting image of his father, don't U think???

Macca's Girlfriend Messing Up At Work?

wenn52701992.jpg

Paul McCartney's American girlfriend, trucking heiress Nancy Shevell, is getting flack in her business life.

The 49-year-old has been dating the former Beatle for 18 months already, but it seems dating a celeb is distracting her from working a real job.

Shevell is currently vice president at New Jersey trucking company New England Motor Freight Inc. She's also a board member of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

And, now, reports have surfaced that since January of last year she's missed four board meetings, which is more than any other voting member has missed, and she's got 26 absences in total.

And what's got other people peeved is that on dates of important meetings she's been spotted out on the red carpet and at events with McCartney.

Gene Russianoff, a New York City transit advocate, says "It is significant. The whole point of the board is to be a check and balance on the MTA's staff work. You've got to be physically present to do that." And if they can't show up, "they should resign."

But the MTA is defending the slacker saying, "MTA board members are volunteers who serve without compensation and spend countless hours each month attending meetings and analyzing background materials." They can't lose their public figure.

What would U prefer? Dating Paul McCartney or working fulltime?

Mucca Is So Full of Herself

mucccca.jpg

We couldn't stop laughing at this one!

Heather Mills told the folks at Page Six Magazine that the guys in the NYC lurve her to pieces,.

Paul McCartney's ex-wife says:

"I've got so many stunning girlfriends who can't get a boyfriend. But when I go out here, I get asked out all the time, and my girlfriends - who are better looking than me - say, 'How the hell does that happen?!' Maybe it's because I'm comfortable with myself."

Maybe it's because they know about your hefty divorce settlement and they want to get a piece Macca's money too, duh.

Here are some of Heather's other LOLtastic comments!

On dating and Sir Paul McCartney:
"I've been dating a very hot, humble English guy for nine months. As for my ex and I, we get on fine. We're like any civil divorced couple. I haven't actually met Nancy [Shevell, Paul's girlfriend], but my daughter says she's wonderful. Paul's got great taste in women."

On being vilified in the press:
"When you marry a Beatle, you marry 120 million fans who are also madly in love with him. This has meant years of hurtful and untrue press, as well as some silly things such as "Heather Pays $1 Million for Swimming Pool." (I could have built a pool for the British Olympics for that price.) My friends remind me that this happens to many strong, successful women. I've watched my friend Hillary Clinton go through a hell of a time and still come out on top due to her strength.

On birthdays and living in New York:
"I turned 41 last week. When I was with my daughter's father [Paul McCartney], we didn't really socialize. But on my birthday I thought, "Oh, I need a party." So I invited everyone from the local bar and had drinks at home. It was such a laugh. That's New York—so easygoing. For me, living here is a fresh beginning and an opportunity to move on."

On life's priorities:
"One of my friends found a picture from when I was 24 just before I lost my leg and said, "Why don't you cut your hair short again?" So I thought, "Just chop it off." I'm laid-back about that stuff. I nearly died four times—a police motorcycle cut my leg off and punctured my lung, which gives you a different perspective on life. It's just hair. It grows."

Snoop Dogg Wants In the UK Bad. Enlisting A-list Brit Celeb Help

snoop__opt11__opt.jpg

Mea culpa, says the rapper!

Snoop Dogg is so desperate for permission to enter the UK on a Visa that he's reached out to A-list Brits to vouch for him.

“I’ve called David Beckham, Sir Paul McCartney, hell, I want to get the whole of the Beatles to help me get back in,” said the banned musician, who is not allowed in the country for being arrested in the U.S. so much and for getting into a little "altercation" with authorities in London's Heathrow airport.

He also said, for artistry's sake, he needs to visit the capital: "London was one of the first places I came to when I first made it. The people are so warm and friendly and I need to be there for my creativity."

C'mon, Brits! Let him in!

Australia changed their mind about Snoop and his last visit went peachy!

Even Macca's Insecure

maccahip__opt.jpg

Music hit maker David Foster has just released a memoir called, Hitman.

He's worked with everyone from Madonna to Frank Sinatra so you know it' could be a good read!

One of Foster's quips about former-Beatle Paul McCartney made its way into one the NY papers today, Tuesday.

He said collaborating with Macca was "a little like being on a bad date. Ten bad dates, maybe." Also, the Beatle was one of those artists who "needed to be reminded of his greatness."

Ouch!!

Truth or is Foster just a hater?

Still No Beatles Music Available For Download

mx0072945__opt1.jpg

On Monday, Sir Paul McCartney said that negotiations had stalled between the Beatles's holding company and EMI regarding digital downloads of their songs.

According to Paul, the Beatles have been pushing for a download deal, "but there are a couple of sticking points."

He suggested that EMI would not meet Apple Corp's terms, adding, "What else is new?"

So, until then, no music from the Beatles can be legally downloaded online.

Let's hope they get it resolved soon.

For the love of music!
