Paul McCartney always had a way with words.
Following David Bowie's death on January 10, Paul shared a touching and beautiful post expressing his regret over the passing. The message is especially poignant considering McCartney and Bowie were close friends for decades.

Mariah Carey will always reign supreme as the Christmas Queen!
But fans need to check the internet twice, because — like Santa — Mariah ain't going anywhere this time of year!
More than two decades after its original release, the singer's 1994 pop carol scored its best rank ever on the Billboard Hot 100 — rising to the No. 18 spot!
The song also remains at the top of the Holiday 100 chart, as well as leading in Holiday Airplay and Holiday Streaming Songs!
Christmas has sold
When we heard One Direction were going to be in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, we were so excited to see what song they would choose to cover…
And we were NOT disappointed!

We don't know what to say!
Michael Jackson may have passed away six years ago, but his hold on the music industry can still be felt to this day.
That's never been more true than on Tuesday afternoon when a brand new music video for his and Sir Paul McCartney's revamped single Say Say Say dropped!
The duet went No. 1 for six weeks back in '83-'84, and now Paul has teamed up with Mark 'Spike' Stent and Ryan Heffington to create a remix of the hit song along with a choreographed video!
But not only is this a remix, the new version of the song features never-before-heard audio from both Paul and Michael!
Ch-ch-check out Say Say Say like you've literally never seen it before (below)!!!
Paul McCartney is swapping the bong for a more classy glass of wine!
The Beatles singer has never really been shy on his usage of the ever so popular leafy drug marijuana, but now he's proud to say he doesn't use cannabis anymore — and its all because of the children!
LOLz! No really, the 72-year-old said he put down the bong because he wants to set a good example for his kids and grandchildren!
Paul opened up about his drug usage and said:
"I don't do it any more. Why? The truth is I don't really want to set an example to my kids and grandkids. It's now a parent thing. Back then I was just some guy around London having a ball, and the kids were little so I'd just try and keep it out of their faces."
So, what does the legendary musician do now that he's put away his lighter?
"Instead of smoking a spliff I'll now have a glass of red wine or a nice margarita. The last time I smoked was a long time ago."
Sometimes a nice glass of wine is perfection — and anyway, pouring wine into a glass is a whole lot easier than lighting up a bong, right? LOLz.

Paul McCartney doesn't have to do much to dominate any stage he's performing on.
But the rocker called on the assistance of Dave Grohl Saturday night to help him perform The Beatles classic I Saw Her Standing There!
The music legend was performing at the O2 Arena in London when the Foo Fighters frontman joined him on stage and grabbed a guitar to join in — and he totally rocked out like a teenager!
This isn't the first time McCartney allowed Grohl to perform this 1963 hit with him. They sang the tune together at the 2009 Grammy Awards!
Check out the fan footage (below) to see the duo rocking out on stage!
