The rumors were so wonderfully TRUE.

As if we needed anymore evidence that the Beatle was supernaturally talented!!

Paul McCartney did in fact stand in for the late grunge king, Kurt Cobain, at the 12-12-12: Concert for Sandy Relief in a reunion show with Nirvana’s Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic and let’s just say Paul took his vocal cords where no beatle had gone before.

Before the 60’s and 90’s joined forces in a mind-altering time warp with the new song, Cut Me Some Slack, other talent like Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Eric Clapton, Kanye West, Roger Waters, Alicia Keys, Eddie Vedder, on Bon Jovi and Billy Joel also took to the Madison Square Garden stage.

So many legends!!! It was probably better that we weren’t there because we might've imploded with HAPPINESS!

If only Paul had worn a flannel and ripped up jeans. That would’ve really been a sight!! LOLZ!!

Do we have a Nirvana reunion on our hands with Sir Paul McCartney stepping in for the late Kurt Cobain?

Oh, please say it’s true!

Rumors are running wild that Paul might just be playing with former Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic for the 12-12-12: Concert for Sandy Relief tonight.

Can we even handle that musical madness?!

However, a rep for Paul is playing coy by only divulging:

Paul McCartney has been playing live for over 50 years. He knows there are a million things that can go wrong when playing a live concert in front of the entire world.

But it turns out that during the London Olympics, there were a million and one.

We all saw the former Beatle's sub-par performance at the Opening Ceremony, but what went wrong? Paul says

Kanye West and Alicia Keys are about to BLOW YO' MINDS!!

To combat the damage done by that bitch Sandy, Yeezy and Keesy will perform in a star-studded lineup for a new hurricane relief extravaganza called The Concert For Sandy Relief!

They'll be joining forces with Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, and The Who on December 12, so make sure you mark those calenders!!

All proceeds from the event will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund. And all photos from the event will go to PerezHilton.com!
