So incredible to see these people persevering after such tragedy!
Check out this wonderful preview clip from Oprah's Next Chapter, during which she visits the devastated country of Haiti alongside Sean Penn to see how its people are still re-building their lives so they can find work and build homes (above)!
Truly powerful stuff here.
We can't imagine how difficult this all must be, but glad to know that people like Oprah and Sean are there to continue to provide them with relief!

Looks like the OWN network might be able to garner some good ratings off this!
Oprah Winfrey's show, Oprah's Next Chapter, will expand to two nights a week starting January 29th and going through February, starting with a two-parter as she travels with Sean Penn to Haiti!

How nice!
Last we heard from Pamela Anderson, she had been cast as the Virgin Mary in A Russell Peters Christmas Special. Ha!
Now, Pam is doing MORE good for the world by selling her 2007 Range Rover on eBay for charity!
Specifically, all the proceeds from the car sale will go directly to Sean Penn's J/P Haitian Relief Organization!
Here's what Pam tweeted about it:

About time! It's not like he is down there all the time rebuilding towns, feeding starving children and all-around helping the country's morale or anything.
The official announcement was made this weekend that Sean Penn has been given the title of ambassador to Haiti. On Saturday, he was presented the honor by the Haitian foreign minister Laurent Lamothe at the Cinema for Peace benefit at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. Sean graciously accepted the honor, pointing out that it will be nice to “change being called hey you (bleep), to hey Mr. Ambassador!”
Ah! Such a sense of humor this guy has!
Congrats on the honor, Sean. Oh, we mean … Mr. Ambassador!

Could this be a sign that The Artist will dominate at the Oscars???
Last night, the 2012 Critics' Choice Awards aired on VH1, and The Artist took home the BEST PICTURE and BEST DIRECTOR awards! In total, the film landed four awards.
Other winners for the night included George Clooney for The Descendants and Viola Davis for The Help!
Sounds like they made some solid decisions! We approve!
Check out a full list of last night's winners AFTER THE JUMP!

Remember when Sean Penn went cray cray on a photographer???
He almost faced jail time for assaulting the paparazzi and breaking his camera. But luckily for him, all he had to do was endure probation and attend thirty six hours of anger management classes.
And according to his counselor, he's been doing fabulously!! He's even made a breakthrough, learning what may be the root of his anger!
Looks like he's not an angry bear anymore. Cuddly Penn… hmmm…
