Date Night With Steve Carell And Tina Fey

wenn-fery-carell.jpg

This should be interesting!

Funny folks Steve Carell and Tina Fey star in Date Night, an upcoming film in which a married couple's weekly night out is beset with comedic disaster.

With Carell and Fey at the comedy's helm and a support cast which includes the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Leighton Meester, James Franco, Kristen Wiig, Mark Ruffalo, Ray Liotta, Common, Mila Kunis and Taraji P. Henson, Date Night is one of the most anticipated new movies of 2010.

It'll probably suck!

Celeb Salaries Revealed!

wpe-coverparade.jpg

The folks over at Parade have calculated the top moneymakers in their upcoming "What People Earn" issue and revealed the salaries of some of America's most famous celebs!

The issue features Jennifer Aniston, who earned $27 million over 2008 due to the surprise hit Marley & Me, on the cover, but Maniston's wages don't hold a candle to 2008's top earner: Barbie!

Barbie and Mattel brought in a whopping $3.3 billion for the year!

That's a whole lotta plastic boobies!

Parade spilled the deets of some of our favorite celebs' salaries, with Britney Spears raking in a modest $2.25 million and Beyonce earning a phenomenal $80 million!!

Tween idol Taylor Swift even topped Brit Brit by making $5.5 million for the year!

Funnywoman and 30 Rock star Tina Fey was able to earn $4.6 million, but her former SNL cast mate Will Ferrell blew her figure out of the park, bringing in $31 million in 2008 alone!

Speaking of blowing out of the park, perpetual playboy for the Yankees A-Rod brought in $34 million for the year, making him currently the top earning player in baseball.

Parade then compared the celebs' salaries to those of the average American and found that celebrities earned 115 times more than your average Joe in 2008!

Yuck!

Not the greatest news to hear in the middle of a recession!

Not So Funny

Tina Fey left the shtick at home and looked simply stunning!

The 30 Rock star presented the writing awards with Steve Martin.

Milk screenwiter Dustin Lance back won for Original Screenplay and gave the kind of acceptance speech we wish we would have heard as a young kid.

Bravo!

Poor Thing

saga_pressroom_08_wenn22615.jpg

Tina Fey is funny. Very funny.

She clearly does not know how to dress herself!

Didn't she hire someone to help her with that????

The 30 Rock star wore your sister's prom dress to the SAG Awards on Sunday.

How unfortunate!

Tina Fey Calls Out Online Haters in Acceptance Speech, Hater Responds

tinafey.jpg

Aww.

Celebs are human, and they have "feelings" too!

Apparently, Tina Fey has a few haters on the LA Times' entertainment awards message board and she proceeded to call them out by their "handles" in her best TV comic actress award acceptance speech at the Golden Globes.

The 30 Rock star said:

"If you ever start to feel too good about yourself, they have this thing called the Internet. You can find a lot of people there who don't like you. I'd like to address some of them now. BabsonLacrosse, you can suck it. DianeFan, you can suck it. Cougar Letter, you can really suck it ’cause you've been after me all year."

The Times caught up with award-winner Fey and asked her if she gets hurt by what the posters say. She responded, "I don't know what I did to them. DianeFan thinks I have a smug smile. I don't know her. I don't what I did to her. Sometimes (I take it personally), but not too much. I don't read it too much."

Well, after Fey's world wide telecasted diss, DianeFan jumped right back on to the message board and posted, “I’m famous. She mentioned BabsonLacrosse too. Sorry Tina Fey but I still don’t think you deserved to win.”

We sense DianeFan is a failed comic/actress.

What a pity.

Congrats, Tina!

You rock and deserve all your success!!

Sarah Palin's Still Deluded - Jealous Of Kennedy!

Former GOP VP-candidate Sexy Sarah sat down with 'conservative' filmmaker John Ziegler this week for his upcoming documentary film, How Obama Got Elected.

Excerpts from the Palin interview were posted on YouTube Wednesday evening.

The gun-toting granny claims the following:

- Caroline Kennedy is getting softer press treatment in her pursuit of the New York Senate seat than she did as the GOP vice presidential nominee because of Kennedy’s social class.

- The press coverage of her and her family was and continues to be 'unfair'.

- Katie Couric and Tina Fey have been “capitalizing on” and “exploiting” her.

You sound a little defensive, Gov!

And, maybe she's a little jealous of Caroline K!

The Entertainer Of The Year Award Goes To…

wenn2095566.jpg

With 2009 soon approaching us, publications are busy releasing their best and worst of 2008.

Even the Associated Press has their Entertainer of the Year award.

That award is chosen by broadcast producers and newscast editors across the country. And coming in at the top of the list is former Saturday Night Live actress Tina Fey.

The award is given to those that have had "the greatest impact on culture and entertainment."

One entertainment editor from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said, "Tina Fey is such an obvious choice. She gave us funny when we really needed it and, in a year when women in politics were making huge strides, Fey stood out in the world of entertainment."

Coming in at second place was Robert Downey Jr. And with his recent comeback hit with Iron Man he definitely deserved to be on the list.

The third place spot went to Heath Ledger for his amazing portrayl of the Joker in The Dark Knight.

But it was definitely Tina's year.

She had her comeback cameos on SNL playing Sarah Palin. She starred in this years' Baby Mama which grossed over $60 million. And she even won THREE Emmys for her sitcom 30 Rock.

Let's hope she does even better next year. She's moving on up!

Tina Fey Scarred By Childhood Knife Attack

fey.jpg

This makes us appreciate Tina Fey even more!

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Tina Fey's husband, Jeff Richmond, tells the mag the origins of Miz Fey's facial scar that runs down her left cheek.

Her face was slashed by a stranger when she as only 5-years old!

That must have been so traumatizing!

"It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody who just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen. That scar was fascinating to me. This is somebody who, no matter what it was, has gone through something. And I think it really informs the way she thinks about her life."

The Emmy winner says she doesn't like to talk about the incident because, "it's impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it and glorifying it."

She goes on to say that she never felt like an ugly duckling because of it, "It's really almost like I'm kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of 'Oh, I guess we should use this side' or whatever."

Nothing can stop the greatness that is Tina!
