Tom Hanks is only blaming himself for his diabetes diagnosis.
The acclaimed actor first revealed he has Type 2 diabetes in 2013, and now he's speaking out a little bit more about how he ended up with the disease in the first place.
In a recent interview with the Radio Times, the 59-year-old admitted that becoming diabetic was nobody's fault but his own, saying:
"I'm part of the lazy American generation that has blindly kept dancing through the party and now finds ourselves with a malady. I was heavy. You've seen me in movies. You know what I looked like. I was a total idiot."
The A-lister confessed that his poor diet is what put him in this position, and he wasn't very cautious in his attempts to avoid the diagnosis:
"I thought I could avoid it by removing the buns from my cheeseburgers. Well, it takes a little bit more than that."
And while he's criticizing his past actions, the movie star is much more optimistic when it comes to his future, adding:

Demi Lovato doesn't have a filter.
So, it's no surprise the pop princess sat down with Refinery29 to discuss her past struggle with drugs, alcohol, addiction, and mental illness.
The brunette beauty opened up about how substance abuse affected her attitude, saying:
"Prior to getting sober, I was one of those people who was like, I don't give a f*ck, whatever. And I used that as an excuse to do whatever I wanted. I was a nightmare to work with."
The 23-year-old even went on to use some pretty harsh words to describe her old behavior, admitting she was:
There is A LOT going on in the Kardashian/Jenner family right now.
And it appears that Kim Kardashian West is more than willing to dish all about the pregnancy and breakup news going down. Classic!
Lena Dunham just pulled a literary fast one!
In Lena's latest edition of Lenny Letter, the actress revealed the release of her latest book, Is It Evil Not To Be Sure? — a collection of personal stories dating back to when she was barely 20 years old.
Ms. Dunham collected the material from her old journals while recuperating from surgery to correct her endometriosis.
Speaking on the content of her exciting new book, L.D. gushed:
The music world has lost another legend as Grammy award-winning musician Emilio Navaira passed away Monday night at the age of 53.
Navaira was best known as the king of Tejano music — a Texan-Mexican style — and sang alongside Selena several times before she was shot and killed in Corpus Christi, Texas back in 1995. After the songstress' death, Emilio became of face of the genre.
Reportedly, Emilio's family members found him unconscious and called 911. Unfortunately, it was too late as doctors later pronounced him dead. Though there hasn't been an autopsy yet, it's believed that the singer suffered a heart attack.
Several years ago, Navaira talked a bit about about his transition from primarily a Latin audience to trying to break into the English speaking scene saying:
