Ariana Madix isn’t letting Scandoval get her down — especially when it comes to her career!
According to Deadline on Wednesday, the 37-year-old Vanderpump Rules star landed a starring role in the upcoming Lifetime movie Buying Back My Daughter. The film centers around a mom who finds out her missing teen daughter is being sex trafficked on an escort website. Whoa! That sounds very intense!

As for Ariana’s part in the film? Deadline noted she will portray a police officer named Karen, who helps to investigate the case and even has a personal connection to the situation. The film will also star Meagan Good, Arrow alum Roger Cross, and Riverdale star Faith Wright.
The movie is currently filming, but no release date has been announced yet. Nevertheless, this is perfect timing since Ariana is wrapping up season 10 of Vanderpump Rules on Thursday and most likely will want a distraction from the affair drama with her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval and co-star Raquel Leviss. But let’s be real here, there is no better revenge than success after a breakup — and this is MASSIVE success! Now, she gets the satisfaction of knowing Sandoval is watching from the sidelines while she is completely thriving without him! She certainly deserves a chance to shine after everything that has happened!
