Shocking Inhumane Treatment of Foals During Wild Horse Roundups

Can you imagine being chased by huge helicopters for miles with nowhere to hide, until you’re too weak to run anymore?

According to this video, that is exactly how wild horses baby horse are captured.

Today, the ASPCA released a video documenting the inhumane treatment of young mustang foals during the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Triple B roundup currently underway in northeastern Nevada.

In these “round ups” groups of wild horses are chased for miles by government-contracted helicopters that cause a stampede.

Many little baby horses can keep up with her big horses and are taken from their families. Once captured the ASPCA says:

“These young, unweaned babies are separated from their mothers and forced to stand in the hot sun for up to seven hours without access to water.├óΓé¼┬¥
