It’s been a little over 2 years since Casey Anthony was found not guilty of homicide of her daughter Caylee.
But now she’s going back to court in a civil trial!
Zenaida Gonzalez was the one who filed the lawsuit after Casey initially told police it was her daughter’s nanny, Zenaida, who kidnapped her daughter.
Casey had originally planned to plead the fifth amendment so she wouldn’t have to testify, but Zenaida’s lawyer says that is NOT going to happen!
Here’s what the prosecuting lawyer said:
“Casey Anthony will not be permitted to plead the fifth as her appeals have now been resolved. We look forward to getting answers to the questions we have had for a very long time.”
The first day of the deposition is scheduled for October 9th in Tampa, Florida.
We certainly hope that new light is spread on this disturbing case, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Casey finds a way to get out of this one, too!
We’ll just have to wait and see though!
