Aaron Hernandez was back in court today, but it was a very short-lived affair!
As expected, the prosecutors filed for continuance to delay the probable cause hearing, and the judge granted the extension and rescheduled for August 22nd.
It seemed likely that the prosecutors would ask for more time so they could compile extra evidence and build a stronger case against Aaron, and that’s exactly what they ended up doing!
The former footballer’s attorney, James Sultan objected the rescheduling and pointed out that his client had already spent a month behind bars, but the judge didn’t seem to think a few more weeks would do any harm!
It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to see how this case plays out, but now investigators have more time to find more concrete evidence to see whether or now he was responsible for Odin Lloyd‘s murder!
