Car Dealership Blames Anton Yelchin For His Own Death In Response To Wrongful Death Lawsuit!

Our thoughts continue to be with Anton's family during this difficult time.
Wow. The AutoNation Chrysler dealership is firing back after Anton Yelchin‘s parents, Viktor and Irina, filed a wrongful death lawsuit over the tragic accident which took the actor’s life too soon.
You might remember the Star Trek star was found dead in June after his 2015 Jeep Cherokee rolled backwards down his steep driveway and pinned him against the gate of his Studio City home.

Well, the Valencia car dealership has filed its own response to the lawsuit, and blames the late 27-year-old for his own death due to “misuse, misapplication, or damage” of his SUV, according to TMZ‘s report.
It was previously reported there was “voluntary recall” of the e-shift after it left drivers unintentionally leaving their car in neutral and not park.
The dealership also goes on in the legal docs to possibly claim Anton made changes to his car, which may have damaged it. Not to mention, the company believes the star’s parents didn’t take care to preserve the Jeep, which may have compromised evidence.
Obviously it’s up to the judge to decide which side to take.
Yelchin’s parents also named Fiat Chrysler and ZF North America in the suit so it will be interesting to see what happens if AutoNation gets out of it.
