We knew something was going on with Ariana Grande‘s Instagram, but it’s more than that.
Pete Davidson confirmed after his umpteenth kerfuffle with Ari’s fans that he was leaving IG, and it turns out Ari has now confirmed she’s taking “a breather” as well!

When a fan noticed she had posted on Snapchat, she responded that she could be found there but NOT on Instagram or Twitter for a while:
yeh ! i’m prolly gonna post on der for a little while & take a breather from twitter & ig for a little. just sometimes can’t help but bump into some negative shit that really can bum u out and it’s not worth it honestly. promised i’d always tell you. i love u sm ! be well & happy

She went on to express nothing but love for her fans — the ones who weren’t bringing the “negative shit” that is:

Obviously she meant her love affair with her fans is the “forever situation” and the social media sojourn is temporary.
It’s true, there’s a lot of negativity out there on the social media — and everyone needs a break from it now and then!
