Drag Queen Accuses Ariana Grande Of 'Stealing' Her '7 Rings' Look Amid Forever 21 Likeness Lawsuit!

Ariana Grande accused of stealing from drag queen

This Ariana Grande likeness drama just took a juicy turn!

In the wake of the Grammy winner’s team accusing Forever 21 of stealing her 7 rings likeness for a social media campaign, a drag queen has claimed the singer actually stole the look from her in the first place!

As we reported, the Sweetener songstress recently sued the fashion retailer for $10 million, claiming the brand launched an “unauthorized marketing campaign” by using photos from the star’s music videos and hiring a lookalike model, falsely suggesting Ari was somehow involved.

The lawsuit alleged Grande and the store were planning on working together, but the deal fell through because Forever 21 didn’t want “to pay the fair market value for a celebrity of Ms. Grande’s stature.” Instead of paying the singer to use her likeness, the singer’s team claimed the store “simply stole it by launching a misleading campaign across its website and social media platforms.”

Now, Ari is apparently getting a taste of her own allegations. RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Farrah Moan is claiming one of the looks the 26-year-old is suing over was actually stolen from her!

Moan posted a side-by-side comparison on Twitter, accusing Grande’s team of bringing a picture of an outfit she wore on Drag Race to a designer and instructing them to “copy” the look for the 7 rings video. She went on to claim it was the designer themselves who spilled this tea to her, tweeting:

In follow-up tweets, the drag queen put most of the blame on Grade’s team, pointing out how ironic it was they would sue Forever 21 for “theft of likeness” when they had apparently done the same.

Ariana hasn’t publicly responded to Moan’s allegations — but someone very close to her has: Frankie Grande!

The star’s brother was asked about his sister’s alleged drag appropriation on the red carpet of The Game Changers premiere on Wednesday, and dismissed it as part of the territory that comes with being such a Grande-sized star.

He told ET’s Lauren Zima

“Listen, there’s always drama, you know what I’m saying? And it’s just whether or not you’re going to dial into that particular element or whether you’re going to stay above it and like rise above it and just like you know reign supreme. And that’s what I feel like she’s doing.”

Rising above is always a wise choice! But does that still apply when she started the drama in the first place with the lawsuit?

Frankie didn’t say, but he added:

“You can either dial into the drama or you can dial away from it and just let it play out. You’re not in control of the results and the sooner that you get that, the better you’re going to live your life.”

Living her best life is very much a concern for Ariana amid her grueling tour schedule and recent emotional strife.

As we wrote, the starlet canceled several meet-and-greets with fans during the Eurpoean leg of her Sweetener World Tour this week after revealing on Instagram her anxiety and depression “have been at an all time high lately.”

When asked about his sister’s recent mental health struggles, Frankie said he was doing his part by being the most supportive brother he could be, noting:

“I support her just by you know being the best big brother on the planet, sending her all the love in the world. Listen, touring is super stressful and it’s really taxing on your body as well. So I’m just like sending her all the love and light in the world.”

Let’s hope this new drag drama doesn’t add too much stress to Ari’s life!
