Hannah Ann Sluss should really teach a masterclass in throwing shade after what she recently had to say about her ex-fiancé Peter Weber!
The 23-year-old model made an appearance on Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s Off the Vine podcast this week and of course, the ladies got to talking about the ins and outs of Hannah’s short-lived relationship with the 28-year-old airline pilot. As you’re likely aware, things didn’t work out for them after The Bachelor, and the starlet was more than willing to have a laugh at her former lover’s expense!

After going through all of the expected questions about her time on the ABC show, where things went wrong with Peter, and how the epic finale played out from her perspective, Bristowe found a way to slip in a cheeky question about how Sluss would describe Weber’s manhood in comparison to a vegetable. Yes, really!
Listen, the world is feeling pretty chaotic these days so why not just go there, right? Hannah Ann’s reply definitely provided some interesting content for listeners because we don’t think anyone expected her to say:
“The vegetable that most represents Peter’s manhood would be cauliflower because it has no taste. Cauliflower needs a lot of flavor. It needs a lot because it’s just bland. There’s no taste.”
Rolling with the subtle “let’s drag Peter” vibe, Kaitlyn was amused by her guest’s response and quipped:
“I was thinking, like, more of a limp asparagus, but cauliflower wins.”
Sluss fired back with another lethal zinger:
“Yes, but asparagus is good, though. I mean cauliflower’s just bland.”
OK, ok. We know this joke would NOT go over well if the roles were reversed. But hell hath no fury like a woman scorned… or, a bitter Bachelor contestant! Plus, Hannah has been harping about her ex’s shortcomings to several outlets since the show wrapped, so, there’s that.
She also had a lot to say about the apparent romance brewing between pilot Pete and contestant Kelley Flanagan; as we reported, the two recently reconnected and are quarantining together in Chicago amid the coronavirus pandemic.

To anyone who’s of the impression that Hannah’s bothered by all that, she says you’re wrong:
“I am just kind of like, ‘Oh, that’s cool I guess.’… I met Kelley through the show and I’m cool with Kelley. We’re not going to be best friends or anything, but I’m cool with her. So it’s not like, ‘Oh, this was my best friend now she dating my ex-fiancé.'”
She continued to take the high road:
“She’s always been nice to me. I’m not gonna be angry about it. I’m not gonna be angry about it because I’m just glad to be out of it. I’m not missing out on anything.”
While Weber appears to have moved on, Sluss said she’s had some FaceTime dates of her own with someone who she calls the “Mystery Man,” though she doesn’t plan to settle down any time soon. As for whether she’d appear on Bachelor in Paradise, Sluss is still open to the idea:
“I’m just really happy with my life right now and where I’m at and I really just want to focus on me, and my friends, and my job right now. I don’t know. I would never say never to Paradise, but at the same time I really like my rhythm, like, what I’m doing right now.”
But for the most part, she’s just focusing on herself and her own happiness:
“I can be content on my own. Just completely content with myself and who I am and not needing a person to add to it,” she said. “I can be my own rock. I can be my own strength.”
