Bob Barker And PETA Say 'Always Treat Animals On Set BETTER!'

Bob Barker and PETA have a bone to pick with American Humane.
The former game host has teamed up with Simpsons co-creator Sam Simon to urge American Humane to look out for animals on set a little bit better.
American Humane is the rating organization that supervises the use of animals on productions. When you see “no animals were harmed” credits in a flick, it’s the AHA that supposedly take care of that.
However, whistleblowers have debunked AHA’s ratings, calling them unreliable and not completely accurate:

Whistleblowers allege that the AHA film ratings are not reliable.
We have been told that the ratings of some films do not reflect what occurred on set, that acceptable ratings have been given when not all animal action was monitored, and that ratings were changed when the AHA feared that information about problems on the set would be leaked.
Not all the alleged incidents resulted in death or injury, though some apparently did.
What all the allegations do convey is that animals, as well as actors, have apparently been put at risk and that these risks could have been prevented.

Some sets that were cited with improper animal care, include Pirates of the Caribbean, The Hobbit, and Boardwalk Empire.
Barker and Simon will hold a press conference today to “encourage” AHA to step their game up…
STEP THAT GAME UP!
