Brad Pitt Reveals He Got His First Gun In Kindergarten! Plus, One Of His Sons With Angelina Jolie Already Knows More Than Him About Weaponry!

Nothing like dropping a bomb on us, Brad Pitt!
The Fury actor made a shocking revelation while promoting his upcoming war flick this week, confessing he’s been a gun owner since kindergarten!!
The 50-year-old actor revealed the firearm was his grandfather’s, and it was an honor to receive:

“There’s a rite of passage where I grew up of inheriting your ancestors’ weapons. My brother got my dad’s. I got my grandfather’s shotgun when I was in kindergarten.”

Brad explained he was given an air gun at 6, but owned a full blown handgun by 8-years-old.

He continued, chatting about the usefulness of being taught respect for guns at a young age — even revealing his son Maddox‘s knowledge of tank weaponry:

“The positive is that my father instilled in me a profound and deep respect for the weapon. Maddox knows so much about tanks that when we first started on the movie, I was asking him for information.”

Mr. Pitt did come out in support of the Second Amendment around 2012 — so we guess this isn’t completely coming out of left field.
But handling a gun at 6?? Seems MORE THAN questionable to us!
