Bret Michaels has decided it├óΓé¼Γäós time for him to take a stance on the condition that├óΓé¼Γäós plagued him for almost his entire life — Diabetes.
Michaels has suffered from type-1 diabetes since he was six, and has recently raised more than $300,000 on his TV show for the American Diabetes Association. He has also signed on to be the face of the organization in November.
Said Michaels:
“It is an honor to once again be working with the American Diabetes Association. As someone with type 1 diabetes, I know how difficult it can be to live with this disease and how important it is to raise awareness so that we can eventually put a stop to diabetes. I hope everyone will join me in the movement to Stop Diabetes this November.”
Bret, you’re a crazy person most of the time, but we love the charity work you’re doing!
