Bret Michaels Scheduled For Heart Surgery In January

This poor guy can’t catch a break!
Bret Michaels is currently on tour, wowing his fans with how easily he was able to bounce back after suffering a major stroke. However, sources are reporting that the worst is not over yet for Bret. The rocker has a major surgery coming up right after the new year and it concerns his ticker.
When Bret was hospitalized earlier this year, his doctors found a hole in his heart, a condition that he has had since he was born, unbeknownst to him. The surgery will be to repair the hole and keep him from any further complications. His rep confirmed the news and offered reassurance that his client is a survivor. His rep explained:

“Is he 100 percent? No, but he’s in good spirits, he’s having fun on the road, he loves his fans and has always said music heals him. He said that there are times when, of course, he worries but he has great people around him and he’s very cautious…He’ll rest up, have surgery, take some time off, hopefully take a family vacation and get back on the road touring and promoting his upcoming book.”

Hopefully you people will let him enjoy the first part of that before you thrust him back into working again. The man has endure some serious medical stuff. Let’s give him a bit of a break, shall we?!
