Was there really any other way to close the show?
It’s no secret that Adele is the most famous pop star in the world — let alone in the UK — so we weren’t surprised to hear that she was going to be the final act of the 2016 BRIT Awards.
However, after winning the awards for British Female Solo Artist, British Album of the Year, British Single of the Year, and the BRITs Global Success, she really had to impress… and she did!
The 27-year-old chose When We Were Young for yet another one of these awards shows, but this was easily her best performance of the ballad since 25 dropped back in November.
Seriously — we could listen to this on repeat all day. And we will!
