When February rolled around, Bruno Mars claimed he turned in all of the required music in the contract between he and his music publishers, Bug Music Inc.
At that point, Bug could decide whether or not they wanted to still work with him within a limited time frame, but according to him — they never officially chose.
So Bruno decided to move on with his musical life, but now Bug won’t let him out of their contract!
The contract makes it so 50% of his songs’ copyrights are theirs. Mmmhmm, they’re trying to milk the cow for all its worth!
But Bruno isn’t having it! He’s filed a lawsuit against them, and is waiting on a judge to officially declare the contract to be no more.
Fingers crossed the judge sees things the same way you do, Bru-Bru! Bad blood is no way to work together.
