Philipps said she had just called an Uber with her husband, Marc Silverstein, but when they got into the car things took an unsettling turn — a “crazy, scary dude” popped up from behind them in the third row of the car!
She explained, revealing she was unsettled from the start:

“I said to my husband, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, that guy was weird. Are you sure he’s not going to kill us?’ And then from the fuck way back, a voice is like, ├óΓé¼╦£I promise that won’t happen’ and there was just like a fucking crazy, scary dude in way back of this Uber.”

Wait, what!? Girl, RUN!!!

Thankfully, the 37-year-old has seen her fair share of horror movies and assumed this random passenger was plotting to kill her. She continued:

“Basically I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£I will not be killed tonight!’ and I jumped out and started screaming at this freaking creepy Uber driver. I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£This is not happening. I will not be killed tonight.’ “

The Freaks and Geeks alum switched between nervous laughter and petrified shaking when retelling the story, adding:

“I’m not trying to be alarmist or whatever, but I definitely feel like those guys were trying to murder me tonight. I legitimately feel that way and it was really scary.”

Thankfully, the pair made it home safely and were snacking on pizza by the time Philipps brought Silverstein into the camera for his take:

Silverstein added that his wife said “no!” about 50 times after the incident and wondered if they accidentally got into an Uber pool with more than one pick-ups — a theory that Busy shot down.
Still, the actress’ husband even admits the ride was “the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me.”
Mistake or murder attempt, Michelle Williams‘ bestie said she is done with Uber for good, and had some advice for her fellow passengers:

“If you’re ever faced with this, your answer is no!”

Not today, Uber!
