You already know things are steamy between Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello in their new Señorita music video, but it seems their relationship is heating up IRL, too!

The young artists were spotted holding hands on Wednesday night looking awfully cute together (see the pics HERE), so it may be safe to assume they’re more than friends! Sources shared with ET Canada that the I Know What You Did Last Summer singers headed back to Shawn’s WeHo pad in El Lay after a night on the town, walking hand-in-hand to his door.
Plus, the two spent Independence Day together on Thursday, as seen on a friends’ Instagram Story (below), where the two are spotted looking awfully cozy by the pool together:

News of Cabello’s recent breakup with boyfriend Matthew Hussey came mere days after the song collaboration with Mendes, leading many to believe that the two were related. Following the split, many Camila stans on social media have been commenting Señorita lyrics on her ex’s IG pics, leading to a vague yet cryptic message from the 22-year-old songstress.
The former Fifth Harmony band member penned:
“To my fans, if you really love me, please do not send people I love and care about hateful things. You doing that really hurts me, and it’s so unnecessary and heavy and damaging to add more pain to pain. There’s a real person behind your tweets. You spamming them with hateful, insensitive things is really not funny, is causing all of us pain, and doesn’t all reflect the values I talk about. Please be kind and compassionate and sensitive and respectful. I know you love me, but anyone that’s doing that is really not even respecting the sacred things in my life. The people I love and care about is one of them. I would really appreciate it if you would delete any mean comments you’ve sent, and please be kind by leaving it alone.”
However, despite the suspicious timing of the song release and breakup, a source close to the Havana singer shared with The Sun that it was a “mutual decision” for the two to call it quits.
The insider elaborated:
“Camila’s relationship with Matthew had run its course and they decided to break up about a fortnight ago. But they have spent a lot of time together over the last year and a half and want to stay friends despite going their own way.”
Is Camila moving on too fast, or should she jump right into something new with Shawn?!
