2018 was a year for beef! Let’s see who served it up the best (below).
Cardi B and Nicki Minaj
Things have gone downhill FAST for these two rappers over the past few months, ever since their iconic fight in September, and there’s been no shortage of fuel to add to the fire. Neither of the divas have held back on saying that they have no remorse for the night, and have even made memes and merch out of the whole ordeal, but many celeb pals are keeping their mouths shut about it.
Asia Argento and Rose McGowan
These former pals and activists aren’t as close as they used to be! Unfortunately they were both allegedly assaulted by Harvey Weinstein, but after it came out that Asia reportedly paid off her own sexual assault accuser, things weren’t so cheery between the two anymore. Rose called Asia out on social media, and Asia threatened legal action for what she claimed to be an incorrect spread of details on Rose and company’s part. Asia even went so far as to get a dagger tattooed as a direct jab toward Rose, ouch!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
Gone are the days of Brangelina; it’s been full on war! The former super couple have been in the midst of getting a divorce, and figuring out a custody agreement for their six children has been trying to say the least. While the two seem to have finally reached an agreement, there had been plenty of reports that back up just how nasty things have become.
Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker
Much to the dismay of many SATC fans, these two aren’t nearly as close IRL as they were on the show, and we won’t be getting a SATC 3 because of it! Allegedly, a third movie fell apart because Kim didn’t want to reprise her role (for various reasons, reportedly), and things continued to fall apart after her brother passed away. She didn’t take too kindly to SJP sending her condolences, so she put her on blast. Guess they’re not soulmates after all!
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley
These two need to make up their mind! One minute they’re on, and the next minute they’re off. And the parents of Ariana Sky have gotten into their share of public fights, some of which have been documented on Jersey Shore. For now they’re together, but we’re not holding our breath!
Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem
The feud between these two rappers has been ongoing and epic (if you’re in the camp who believes it’s all real, anyway). It started way back in 2012 when MGK called Eminem’s daughter Hailie “hot,” and it’s been downhill ever since. He shaded Eminem on a Tech N9yne song, with a direct lyric reference to Shady’s Rap God lyrics earlier this year — which was followed up with Eminem throwing shade back on the track Not Alike. Sigh. Tech N9yne denied knowing about MGK’s intentions, and yet another diss track from MGK was released shortly after, which was followed up by a (you guessed it) diss track from Eminem. This is truly the song that never ends!
Jeff Lewis and Jenni Pulos
Former friends of fifteen years and Flipping Out costars are estranged after she apparently went to their “bosses and got [him] in some trouble,” according to Jeff. They had an explosive fight after this, followed by Jenni getting fired, which was of course captured on video and aired in the recent season 10 finale of the Bravo show. We’re even more depressed about this friendship breakup because Jenni is the godmother of Jeff and husband Gage Edward‘s daughter Monroe.
Roseanne Barr and (The Entire) Roseanne cast
Their family ties have proven not to be so strong after all, and for good reason! After the recently reprised show Roseanne was canceled due to disgustingly racist tweets from the shows namesake, her cast and many celebrities turned against her for good, and got a spinoff without her, The Conners, and are clearly SO much better off. Good riddance, Roseanne!
Kanye West and Drake and Pusha T
The drama has been brewing between Pusha T and Drake for YEARS, but it came to a climax this year when Pusha T released his first album in three years, produced by Kanye West, and it included a diss lyric directly for Drake. The God’s Plan rapper didn’t hold back with his own diss track, and so on and so forth, even bringing Kanye into the mess by calling him out for requesting help for writing two songs on The Life Of Pablo album. In December, Kanye went on another one of his famous Twitter rants calling Drake out for allegedly threatening him. Kim Kardashian West then got into the mix by publicly calling Drake out on Twitter, insisting that without Ye, there would be no Drake.
Farrah Abraham and Teen Mom OG cast
It’s not all smiles for the cast of Teen Mom OG! Farrah Abraham was ousted from the crew because the other young moms believed her to be a bad influence, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. She sued Viacom, the parent company of MTV, claiming she was fired because of her decision to work in the adult industry, but has been throwing some serious shade at her replacements on the show, Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd, ever since.
Meghan Markle and Her Family
Meghan has seriously not been able to catch a break this year. After what should have been the happiest year of her life between getting married to an IRL Prince and becoming pregnant with her first child, it has been clouded with the drama that her father and sister have been throwing her way.
