Chloë Grace Moretz Jabs Ex Brooklyn Beckham In Discussion On Celebrity Dating!

Chloë Grace Moretz has purposely stayed silent on the subject of Brooklyn Beckham — now she’s opening up about why.
The young Hollywood power couple split in April after over three years of on-again, off-again romance.
Brooklyn seemed to move on very quickly, and now maybe Chloë has as well.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, the Miseducation of Cameron Post star detailed the problems with dating — and going through a breakup — when you’re famous, explaining:

“Breakups are hard across the board. But when every verified account on Twitter posts something about me, I get tagged. And every major publication is verified. So anytime they post something about a certain relationship, it pops up on my phone, which is how I find out about 90% of things.”

It’s tough NOT to read that as talking about the activities of Brooklyn. Her ex made headlines when he was spotted making out with a Playboy model immediately after their split.
Sad to think about poor Chloë having to hear all about that secondhand…
But even after going through that, Chloë believes she needs to keep dating within show business (which we’ve heard she might be already):

“It’s nearly impossible to date someone who has no real basis in this industry, because it’s a shocking industry. There are a lot of things that happen that are hard to explain.”

Top of the list? The paparazzi.
She says going public with your relationship on social media, something she and Brooklyn eventually did, is like putting a photo bounty on your head any time you’re together:

“You can’t post that photo unless you want people to talk about it. And if you do, you can’t complain. If you are dating someone, that makes their photo more lucrative, it ups the ante and they hunt you down to excessive points.”

So what lesson did she learn for her next relationship?

“To be secretive. To keep things quiet. It’s been a very big learning curve, and that was hard. I had a lot of moments when I was, like, ‘Why can’t I just say this? Why can’t I be with this person in the street and not get photographed?’ And there’s no real answer to that other than you just can’t. That’s my life, but hopefully I’m going to try and control every ounce of it that gets out.”

When asked very specifically whether she wants any quote about Brooklyn on the record, she first answers:

“I want nothing to be said.”

But then adds:

“I’m not a big fan of PDAs in general. I personally don’t want to see people posted all over my phone making out.”

Oof! If that’s not telling her ex to keep it classier, we don’t know what is!
Would YOU be able to handle your ex seeing everything you did??
