Chloe Moretz Compares Carrie To Natalie Portman's Black Swan

Chloe Moretz Carrie Black Swan 2013 Tim Burton Martin Scorsese Kimberly Pierce Upcoming Film
The more juicy details we hear about Chloe Moretz and the Carrie remake, the more pumped we get!!
In a recent interview, Chloe spoke at length about starring in the upcoming horror film and about working with director Kimberly Pierce. She raved:

“I don’t want to jinx it, but [Pierce] is a genius, genius, genius director. I would never do it with someone that I don’t trust. I trust her more than a lot of the directors I’ve worked with. She’s the right woman for the job.”

That’s great advice for all the young women out there. NEVER do it with someone you don’t trust!
Oh wait, that’s not what she meant?? LOLz!
Seriously though, Chloe has already worked with some of the best directors in the biz and it’s big news that she puts Pierce on par with Tim Burton and Martin Scorsese and the guy who did Big Momma’s House 2!
The original adaptation of Stephen King’s book generated two Academy Award nominations. So how will this one compare?
Chloe says her character will be even more intense than Sissy Spacek’s:

├óΓé¼┼ô[The new film] is darker and much more psychological. More Black Swan. You’re really looking into her mind ├óΓé¼┼ô

Natalie Portman won an Oscar for Swan and Spacek’s portrayal earned her a best actress nomination so, either way you look at it, Chloe has a huge dress to fill.
And that’s a lot of pressure for a 15 year-old girl. She admitted to being nervous about the revealing wardrobe in particular:

“It’s an out of body thing. I’m becoming a totally different person for it. I’m letting go of all of my self-esteem issues and just kind of going into it. You have to.”

Self-esteem issues??
You’re one of Hollywood’s hottest rising stars, you’ve already won a People’s Choice Award, AND you’re as cute as a whole bag of buttons!
Oh yeah, get to work with Johnny Depp!!
You’re on top of the World, girl!
And we don’t want to wait another whole year to see U play Carrie!!
At least we have Dark Shadows to look forward to first!
