This seems just a touch more serious than a friendly, pretend chokehold!
Chris Brown is being accused of beating up a guy during a pickup basketball game in Las Vegas, where he just started his residency.
The singer was shooting hoops in the Hardwood Suite of the Palms Casino Resort at 4 a.m. on Monday when an argument broke out between him and one of the other guys who was playing.
That’s when police say Chris allegedly punched the man in the face!

Woah!
So now Chris can either own up to what he did and sign a citation, or he can let the District Attorney decide whether or not to press charges.
The whole thing gets stranger, since this isn’t even the first time the Loyal singer has found himself in a basketball brawl.
Chris JUST settled a lawsuit over a beatdown from 2013 at a 24-Hour Fitness in LA.
We have so many questions about all of this. Like, why does basketball make the musician’s blood boil? Or, who even plays basketball at 4 a.m.?
Well, it looks like Chris might have to Run It right into court once again.
