Chrissy Teigen Embraces Her 'New Normal' In Candid Weight Gain Post!

Chrissy Teigen Baby Weight Gain Diet New Normal

Chrissy Teigen doesn’t need to do an AMA; she already knows what you want to ask!
The supermodel has become known as much for being a super mom, a sassy tweeter, and an insatiable foodie in recent years — and her confident declaration over the weekend combines all into one inspiring message.
How did Chrissy end up more on brand than ever before?
She simply answered a question she apparently gets a lot: “how do you eat like this??”

Yes, when Chrissy isn’t talking politics and human rights, or having Twitter feuds with trolls, she’s probably talking about her first love. No, not John Legend or the kids, they came later. Her first love: food!
In case you weren’t aware, Chrissy is an avid chef who even has two cookbooks — Cravings: Recipes for All the Foods You Want to Eat and Hungry For More — which celebrate indulging in all things delicious.
On Saturday she posted a series of vids of the feast she was cooking, along with adorable kitchen staffer Luna:

Awwww! When some fans saw the vast repast, Chrissy apparently got that question again.
So she wrote:

“‘how do you eat like this??’ basically I am 20 pounds heavier than I was before miles. he’s 10 months old, I never lost the last bit because I just love food too much. Just coming to terms with my new normal, when I had this certain number for so long!”

Yasss!
Embracing the new normal is one of those hugely important concepts of self love no one ever talks about. Our lives change, our situations change, our bodies change.

Treating yourself like you’re failing for not being someone you aren’t anymore can wreck self esteem!
For Chrissy, this understanding didn’t come until after her second child, baby Miles. The situation after Luna was born in 2016 (above, left) was lighter — and far darker. She explains:

“the thinnest I’ve ever been was right after Luna. Postpartum depression. I’LL TAKE THESE POUNDS AND THIS FEELING!”

Heck yeah, gurl! Preach it!
Chrissy looks great, feels great, and is enjoying momming and eating both to the fullest.
Want to get an insight into how things were before? She was fighting with people about her weight when she was still posing for Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues — only then her “who cares” attitude was something of a front.
In an interview from way back in early 2017, she told ET:

“Honestly, I was so stuck on the scale game. Like, I was the kind of person that was, you know, pre-baby, I weighed myself like three times a day. I knew how much I weighed at 8 a.m., and I knew how much I was supposed to weigh at 1 p.m., and I knew how much I was supposed to weigh at 8 p.m.”

Eesh! What a tough way to live!
We definitely prefer the sincerely happy and carefree Chrissy!
