Jenny Bale hasn’t talked to her son in six years.
Christian Bale hasn’t had any communication with his mom or his sister Sharon since he got in a fight with them close to the premiere of The Dark Knight in 2008.
The star was subsequently arrested by the police after the sister and the mother accused him of assault.
Well, his momma is tired of the sounds of silence, and hopes to rekindle her relationship with her son sooner rather than later!
Here’s what she said:
“Six years is long enough. I want him back. It├óΓé¼Γäós so sad we have not spoken in all this time. It├óΓé¼Γäós sad for me. It├óΓé¼Γäós sad for him too. His grandmother Edna is now 90 and she wants contact with him ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and it├óΓé¼Γäós his 40th coming up. Now would be a wonderful time to get back together so we could be a family again.”
The only contact the momma has with her sons these days is by watching the movies he’s in!
She said:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóll be flicking through the channels and suddenly there he is, looking at me from the TV. I think, ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, God├óΓé¼Γäó and carry on watching.”
As for their infamous argument, the momma says she has “no idea” what started it all, but believes it was all a misunderstanding! Here’s what she said:
“It was just something he didn├óΓé¼Γäót take up. That was all fine. It wasn├óΓé¼Γäót for Sharon, it was for the people she worked with. But I think he thought it was asking for money. That├óΓé¼Γäós all I can put it down to.”
Usually we’re not fans of family members using the media to try and reunite with their estranged celeb kids, and this isn’t Jenny’s first time going that route, but this may be the only outlet that the momma feels will work!
Christian Bale is his own man, and has to decide what choices to make. Having said that – we hope he isn’t letting his anger guide his decisions. We just hope he doesn’t make a choice now that he ends up regretting down the road.
Besides – if his grandma is 90, he may not have a lot more time to spend with her!
Although in the end it has to be his choice.
