Hollywood truly has a new king!
Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are the latest to capitalize on the Tiger King craze. On Wednesday, the power couple posted a hilarious Tik Tok video to Instagram recreating one of Joe Exotic’s music videos.

In the video — set to Exotic’s song Because You Love Me — Donnie portrayed the Tiger King himself, while Jenny played one of Joe’s beloved tigers. In between lip syncing and faux-guitar strumming, Exotic/Donnie whacked tiger/Jenny in a nod to, well, Joe’s tendency towards rampant animal abuse.
Wahlberg captioned his post “Well … it’s going there.” On McCarthy’s page, she wrote:

It’s a pretty spot-on parody, right down to the lip syncing … considering we now know Joe didn’t sing his own songs!
On Tuesday, the New Kids on the Block singer posted another Tiger King meme — a side by side of an infamous photo of Joe and his two husbands with the NKOTB boys. Underneath the wild pic, he joked:

Fellow boybander AJ McLean shared his own Exotic parody with a recreation of Joe’s song I Saw a Tiger. The Backstreet Boy captioned the vid:

The Masked Singer star and her husband are far from the only celebs with Tiger King fever. Marilyn Manson revealed on Tuesday that he turned down the opportunity to endorse Joe for Governor of Oklahoma. On the other end of the spectrum, Cardi B may be Joe’s most vocal supporter after she tweeted about wanting to start a GoFundMe on the zookeeper’s behalf. Kim Kardashian West, Chrissy Tiegen, and Colin Hanks are just a few of the other big names tweeting about the series.

Sylvester Stallone and his family joined the Walhbergs in dressing up, with an impressive cosplay of a handful of Tiger King personalities. “Joe needs freedom and sitcom”, the Rocky star captioned his post.
Other stars are already vying for their spot in the inevitable Tiger King adaptation. Dax Shepard tweeted:
“If I don’t get cast as Joe Exotic in the eventual biopic, Hollywood is broken.”
But Ed Norton had his own ideas for casting:
“Um, step aside, pal. You’re way too young and buff and you know it. You could probably pull off Maldonado still, actually. Wouldn’t that be fun?”
Jessica Chastain went a bit more obscure for her choice — she wants to play the singer for Carole Baskin’s Big Cat Rescue music video. She tweeted the clip in question, joking:
“MY PART. Back off @BryceDHoward ?? #TigerKing”

And how do we think Joe is taking all of this? Well, he’s currently quarantined in prison, where he’s serving a 22-year sentence for that outrageous murder-for-hire plot. But his fourth husband Dillon Passage had this to say about his reaction to the Netflix series:
“I mean, he’s in jail, so he can’t necessarily watch it. But … once the show dropped, he was getting hundreds and hundreds of emails to his jail mail. And he was ecstatic. It was a lot of good feedback, and he likes attention, obviously.”
Maybe we shouldn’t tell Joe about all the celeb love… we wouldn’t want him to develop an ego! LOLz!
