Dillon Passage is speaking out!
Joe Exotic‘s fourth husband caught up with Andy Cohen on the latter’s Sirius XM radio show Wednesday to discuss the hit Netflix docuseries Tiger King, its controversial (and now imprisoned) star, and all the fallout from all of America watching the whole thing in amazement.

The now-24-year-old opens up about everything in the course of the nearly half-hour-long interview, telling the Bravo head honcho all about living among the animals, drug use at the facility, and a bunch of other crazy stories and tidbits.
Of course, Dillon is patiently biding his time right now while Joe is serving a multi-decade federal prison sentence after being convicted of trying to hire a hitman to kill rival big cat activist Carole Baskin. The Tiger King star is suing the federal government from behind bars, but it’s unclear how that’ll turn out, so for now, Dillon is on his own (though still officially married to Joe!) and ready to tell all…
There were quite a few interesting things about his interview with Cohen — not the least of which is how the pair dug into the young man’s relationship with the tiger handler in the first place. Dillon revealed on air that the two of them met on Grindr, and then noted it was a VERY short time before they got hitched:
“Oh god, I think it was like, a little over two weeks [since we first met]? We definitely jumped the gun [on getting married], I can say that. But I’m not ashamed of it whatsoever … but I do love Joe. He’s been there for me through my darkest times. I’m not just gonna dip out and abandon him when he needs me most.”
Um… WOW! Talk about sudden! Interesting to hear they still have such a bond though, even with Joe locked up behind bars.

Speaking of Exotic’s current legal situation, his husband explained how the pair had been talking multiple times a day on the phone recently, right up until the convicted big cat aficionado was quarantined due to coronavirus concerns:
“We speak three to five times every day. But since he’s been moved to this new facility, they are putting him on a COVID-19 isolation because of the previous jail he was at — there were cases. So I have yet to speak to him since he’s been moved.”
Scary!
Throughout the interview, Dillon is quick to note he wasn’t really involved with the day-to-day operations inside the park and thus didn’t know much about Joe’s feud with Carole, or even his hard work on putting together a reality TV special. But the young man did spill he was not aware of any drug use in the park (he says he did smoke weed, though), and he never saw Joe abuse any animals during his time there.
Defending the imprisoned Tiger King star, Dillon added:
“He’s a really good guy. And, um, you know, he may have made some sketchy decisions. And I know he regrets them. But his intentions are really good at heart. And he would do anything to help anybody in need.”
And in a surprise to nobody who has watched the documentary itself, Dillon also revealed how Joe is LOVING his newfound fame, even if it’s all the way from behind the bars of a prison cell:
“I mean, he’s in jail, so he can’t necessarily watch it. But … once the show dropped, he was getting hundreds and hundreds of emails to his jail mail. And he was ecstatic. It was a lot of good feedback, and he likes attention, obviously.”
Yup… sounds like the Joe Exotic we watched on Tiger King, all right!
