Drive Author Claims A Movie Sequel Is 'In The Pipeline'

Drive author claims sequel is happening
Schweeeetttttttt!
James Sallis, the author of the novel that inspired the Ryan Gosling movie Drive, is claiming that a sequel to the should-have-been-Oscar-nominated feature is in the works.
He just published the novel’s sequel, Driven, and told sources that another film is “in the pipeline.”
No word on whether or not Gosling and director Nicolas Winding Refn are innerested in another go behind the wheel, but it sounds like a sequel could potentially be just as awesome as the original.
Sallis revealed that his newest novel is set 7 years after Driver left El Lay and explained:

“He is trying to suppress the violence ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ but the sequel shows the process of him accepting that this is who he is. He tries to become a normal person and re-invents himself. After his fianc├â┬⌐e is killed, the violence is unleashed again.”

We like it!
The book is out now for your reading pleasure, but would U like Hollywood to adapt it for your viewing pleasure as well?
No matter what Hollywood decides to do with this literary property, at least RyGos and Refn are back in action together with the production of Only God Forgives!
