Eight seems like kind of a low number! Even for regular peeps!
In a recent interview with Radio Times, Emma Watson claims she’s nothing like her materialistic Bling Ring character and only owns eight pairs of shoes!
She said:
“I’ve got about eight pairs of shoes and that’s it. But it’s easy for me to sound like a total hypocrite because, of course, I’m dressed in designer clothes right now.”
So self-aware! You certainly don’t see that every day in Hollywood!
Of course, Emma’s designer duds are most likely borrowed ahead of red carpet events and the like, but we’re sure she also receives plenty of pumps and booties as gifts.
How can a former Burberry girl not have some classic check flats and rain boots in her closet?
In all likelihood, the 23-year-old has more than eight pairs but not nearly as many as Paris Hilton, whose gigantic walk-in she got to see firsthand while filming the Sofia Coppola flick.
Regarding Paris’s clothing collection, Emma said:
“She could never wear all of those clothes and half of them were brand new and still had the price tag on. But I suppose she just bought them to have them. We’ve all bought things on impulse but that’s an entirely different thing. It’s almost like consumerism as a form of kleptomania.”
Well, we all know how much Paris LUUUURVES her Louboutins!
Emma just happens to have simpler tastes and we commend her for it!
