This sounds divine!
Yesterday, the world heard wedding bells when George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin exchanged vows at their symbolic ceremony, held at the Aman Canal Grande hotel in Venice, Italy.
And now we know more details!
Their ceremony was officiated by Rome’s mayor Walter Veltroni, who is of course a good friend of George’s.
And the flowers were to die for! A hotel source explained:
“Staff were preparing bouquets, table arrangements and other floral designs well into the night. Everything they were using was white with green flourishes, lots of roses and peonies being used.”

Then, all of the guests headed to the hotel’s gorgeous garden where they had canapes, as the photogs snapped away. And all of them were treated to a five course banquet afterward, thanks to Italian chef Riccardo De Pra.
Since the celebration isn’t stopping anytime soon, the guests, which included Matt Damon, Anna Wintour, Rande Gerber, Cindy Crawford, Bill Murray, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, and Bono all convened for breakfast today at Venice’s Cipriani Hotel, before the big dinner that’s planned tonight!
Oh, and we can’t forget that Monday will be the actual civil ceremony between George and Amal where they will officially become man and wife.
It’s so untraditional and we love it!
