Charice, international music superstar, who plays Sunshine Corazon on Glee is working with PETA on a very important cause.
She wants to free Mali, a solitary elephant, stuck in a lonely zoo.
Mali is wasting away, all alone in her barren enclosure at the Manila Zoo in the Philippines.
Worse than her loneliness, is her health. Mali hasn’t had real veterinary care in over 36 years, so she’s in constant pain due to some serious foot problems.
This poor elephant should be in a herd, because they’re such social animals.
Plus, her enclosure is way too small because even if it were tripled in size, it still wouldn’t be adequate space for just one elephant.
This is just awful! She needs to be freed!!
