When Jake Gyllenhaal gets into his groove, he surely takes his acting to a whole ‘nother level!
The End of Watch actor was taken to the hospital after he broke his hand during a scene for his latest movie Nightcrawler!
A source close to the film revealed:
“Jake flipped out. His character was looking into a mirror during the scene and punched the mirror in anger and broke it, cutting himself so bad he had to be taken to a hospital.”
Yikes! The man really gets into his character!
The source on the set confirmed that Jakey received stitches on his hand and they chalk up the actor’s actions to the intense scene he was filming, saying:
“The scene was emotionally charged and his character was talking into a mirror and he got so into it, he banged his hands against the mirror and it broke and cut him. It was all the scene and not because he was mad about anything else.”
We certainly hope it wasn’t any underlying anger that made its way into the scene!
Jake seems to be living the good life lately and looks like he’s enjoying his girlfriend Alyssa Miller‘s company!
