James McAvoy & Actress Wife Anne-Marie Duff Are Divorcing After Nine Years Of Marriage

James McAvoy and his wife Anne-Marie Duff are calling it quits after nine years of marriage.
As a refresher, the longtime duo married back in October of 2006 and share one child together, 5-year-old son Brendan.

The X-Men: Apocalypse actor and Duff announced the decision in a statement:

“It is with tremendous sadness that we have come to the decision to divorce. We enter this next phase with continued friendship, love and respect for one another and the shared focus of caring for our son. We ask that you respect our and, most importantly, our child’s privacy during this time.”
