Owning up to it is the first step, we guess! We just wished he had never decided to put lives in danger in the first place!
Jason Kidd, the former NBA star and current Brooklyn Nets coach, has now pled guilty to driving drunk in New York! He crashed his Cadillac into a telephone poll and was arrested for doing that PLUS smelling like a liquor store… and yet, he won’t spend a single day in jail!
Right before the crash, he even appeared so drunk he had to be carried out of the club. If you’re like that, you know you’re too drunk to drive! Making that decision anyway should lead to heavy consequences!
Instead, he was placed on interim probation, and was ordered to speak to high school students in Long Island about the dangers of driving drunk.
It’s a shame his punishment didn’t fit the crime!
