While Jessica Chastain was celebrating movies at a very well known ceremony, she was missing another event entirely!
Her biological father Michael Monasterio was remembered at a memorial service, but Jessica did not know the man during her lifetime and did NOT see a reason to start a relationship with him and his family now.
Here’s what a source said:
“He is not on Jessica’s birth certificate. There are no photos of Jessica and Michael together. Given all of the facts, there are no plans to attend. He never paid child support. He chose not to have contact with Jessica and her family.”
We don’t blame the talented lady for never discussing her biological father in the press or anywhere.
She really considers her stepfather fireman Michael Hastey, to be her true father.
Which is definitely her call!
