Joe Giudice Is Reportedly Struggling In Prison -- Possibility Of Deportation & Limited Time With His Family To Blame

Joe Giudice is NOT loving his time behind bars.
As you may recall, Teresa Giudice‘s husband started his 36 month prison sentence for fraud three months ago at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix. And while Giudice’s lady turned to yoga to get through her own prison sentence, it seems the Bravolebrity has yet to settle into his life in jail.

Why, you may ask? Well, a source dished:

“Joe is struggling. He was moved away from the general population and is now with the illegal immigrants. He has no one to lean on.”

To make matters worse, it seems Juicy Joe’s legal counsel believes the 44-year-old will eventually be deported. The source added:

“His lawyer says Joe is going to be deported. He never took it seriously before.”

Talk about a stressful situation. Regardless, according to a different insider, Joe is remaining “hopeful” throughout this trying time.
However, we can’t really blame the New Jersey patriarch for struggling in prison as the facility’s strict visitation policy has been getting in the way of his one-on-one time with his wife and kiddos. Oh no!
Tre’s lawyer James Leonard Jr. explained to People:

“She’s been going up every other weekend, with whichever of the girls don’t have activities. Where he is, you get a certain number of points every month and each visit counts as a point. Weekend visits are considered more points. So because he also has his mother and sister coming to visit, and Teresa can’t go during the week because the girls are in school, they’re having to do it every other weekend.”

We can only imagine how hard this must be for Joe. On why Miz Giudice’s situation in jail was different than her husband’s, James shared:

“The way it was when she was there was, Joe would come up with whatever girls didn’t have activities. Teresa didn’t want anybody disrupting the girls’ activities just to come see her. Joe feels the same way. They want their kids to be able to have a normal schedule and feel like they’re living a normal life.”

Despite not being able to see each other as often as they would like, the Giudice family attorney confirmed that Teresa and Joe do speak everyday via the telephone and email. Still, Leonard hinted at Joe’s struggle behind bars as he relayed:

“He’s settling in and he’s getting along as well as can be expected.”

Hopefully once the girls are done with school and can visit their dad more frequently, things will get better for Joe. Oh, we hope so!
