Last week, we got a little bit worried when Joe Jackson was hospitalized again!
Michael Jackson‘s father was checked into a medical facility after things got a bit serious at a routine checkup. While at the hospital, the 87-year-old was supposedly running a high fever and docs couldn’t quite figure out what was wrong.

However, Janet Jackson‘s poppa says he’s on the mend! He took to his website to update fans about his current condition, writing:
“I would like to thank you all for the get well wishes and prayers. I am doing much better and growing stronger by the day. Doctors have ordered rest. Thank you always for having me in your thoughts and prayers.”
However, not everyone thought he was going to recover. When word got out about his hospitalized, rumors ran rampant that the famous father had actually passed away!
Last week, the Arkansas native posted to his site to slam the speculation, penning:
“The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. Please ignore all the stupid false rumors from people who seem to find humor in such topics.”
Mr. Jackson was also rushed to a hospital in Brazil after suffering from a stroke.
