New parents Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner returned to social media over the weekend, with no baby in sight!
As you’re likely aware, the couple welcomed their baby girl on July 22, confirming in a statement to Us Weekly on July 27:
“Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby.”

On Friday, just over two weeks after Willa Jonas‘ arrival, the Jonas Brothers frontman snapped a pic with his wife wearing matching t-shirts and using the Instagram Story Vogue filter, along with the text:
“WEAR A MASK. THATS THE TEA.”

We have yet to actually see their daughter, but we’ve heard plenty from those in their inner circle about how they’re handling parenthood so far! An insider for Entertainment Tonight shared some knowledge (below) shortly after Willa’s arrival:
“Although circumstances are different right now because of the [coronavirus] pandemic, Joe was there for the birth of his daughter. The couple is happy they now have time to spend at home with their daughter and get used to their new life together.”
The source also added:
“The couple’s bond has gotten even stronger since the addition of their daughter.”
Aww, so sweet!!
Despite the couple being “over the moon” about the bundle of joy, they’re also taking all the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their little one in these uncertain times, a second insider explained:
“The couple is already obsessed and can’t stop gloating about their new addition. … [They are] taking time to enjoy this special moment and have only shared the news and updates with family and friends. With the pandemic, Joe and Sophie have been very cautious about who is around them and their little girl.”
Totally understandable, and even more responsible!! As you’ll recall, the Game Of Thrones alum and Jonas Brothers band member kept their pregnancy news under wraps over the last few months, and never disclosed that they were expecting amid the pandemic! However, it was hard to deny as time went on and Sophie’s belly continued to grow while they enjoyed neighborhood walks together. It’s unclear how public they will be with their daughter, but we’re holding out hope that Willa will be making her debut sooner rather than later.
