JoJo Siwa says she’s achieved such a high level of stardom that she’s been forced to hire a Kardashian staple: full-time security!
During an appearance on E! News on Monday, the 21-year-old revealed that her current level of fame “definitely is different” than what it was even just a few months ago. Because something crazy apparently just happened! She revealed:
“It’s interesting — OK, I guess we’ll get really right into it: I got swatted two nights ago. I haven’t told anybody about this yet. But basically, I showed up to my house, there was four police cars outside.”

It sounds like she was alone and it was actually police who recommended she pick up some security because of it:
“The police asked me, he was like, ‘Why do you not have security with you in this moment?’ And I was like, ‘Cause I haven’t needed it yet.’ But now, I do really need it every day with me.”
Huh. Reflecting on her fame overall, she added:
“So, it definitely has changed in the last month, two months, three months, I guess, since ‘Karma’ came out. It’s been fun to say the least.”
Karma was definitely… different! But it did attract a lot of attention, though clearly not all of it positive. Not that she needed to change her image to get targeted by awful people. The Dance Moms alum previously opened up about her house being robbed by armed burglars last year. She revealed on Snapchat at the time:
“No one was hurt, all our puppies are good, there is lots of materialistic damage but that can all be fixed … I’m just happy that my family and pups are safe. Most important thing to me.”
