Just because you’re expecting doesn’t mean you’re quite ready to be a parent — and at least when it comes to baby names, funnyman Jordan Peele just proved that point!!
The comedian and his wife, Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Chelsea Peretti, are expecting a child after making an Instagram announcement last week, and now, they have to decide on a name… and things are, uh, getting interesting!

Speaking at an event promoting his new movie Get Out last night, Peele got real(ish) about where he’s getting inspiration for baby names, telling E! News:
“We want to pick a name that has a certain positivity that will counter this barbaric negative time that were are in right now … I am just going to look at My Little Pony and just go through the catalog. Everything we are searching for has a positivity and I think probably if we had a baby a couple of years ago, we would have chosen something cooler and more bad ass. But now, it’s like let’s move into the future in a positive way.”

He’s not totally serious about that, but it is interesting to hear Peele’s take on seeking a positive name to counter a very difficult time in our country (*cough* Donald Trump *cough*).
