Kanye West is only a week away from releasing his upcoming album Waves, and it appears the Grammy-winning artist is trying to get people talking about him a bit more!

Just when we thought West was starting to be humble about his work, the musician took to Twitter to share a fake Rolling Stone cover of himself claiming the pic was taken by Tyler, The Creator.
The 38-year-old tweeted:
ROLLING STONE SHOT BY TYLER THE CREATOR pic.twitter.com/lOMtOdOEel

What makes this even better is the music magazine actually responded to the rapper’s tweet saying:
While we love Kanye, and have many mustard-related questions for him, this is not an actual cover of Rolling Stone https://t.co/2c3ZWpaorN
— Rolling Stone (@RollingStone) February 4, 2016
But Kanye being Kanye OF COURSE had to answer back:
I bet you this still becomes the cover though… Let’s do another poll….. #trollingstone

Should this be a Rolling Stone cover? Yes or No

As of this writing, there are about 75k votes and though it swings positive in Yeezy’s favor, he’s only got about 57% of the votes — on his own Twitter page.

The best tweet of them all came when Kim Kardashian West’s husband seemed to get his panties in a bunch about an article Billboard did on the tweets in which they called Kanye’s image “fake”:
Aye Billboard you could use the term “unauthorized” but never refer to anything that me and Tyler do as fake out of respect to musicians├óΓé¼┬ª

Maybe someone needs to give West a dictionary. Seeing as how the All Day rapper’s tweeted image wasn’t an ACTUAL magazine cover, it kind of makes it… you know, fake! LOLz!
What do you think of Kanye lobbying for a RS cover?
