It’s really cool to see Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick be so mature about their situation as co-parents — honestly, based on some of their (OK, Scott’s) behavior when they were together, we never thought they would’ve gotten to this place!
But here we are! On a vlog released on Monday for her lifestyle site Poosh, Kourtney had the Lord Disick over for a sit-down where the ex-couple talked about parenting their three children and how long it took for them to get to this good place. You can watch part one of the discussion (above)!!!

At one point, the 35-year-old Disick explained what might be the most authentic thing about the whole situation, admitting this to his ex-partner (below):
“We’re just raising our kids how we would have raised them, whether we’re together or not. Just because we’re not together, our kids should not suffer.”
Amen!!!
And the momma of three agreed, remembering some big challenges the pair faced along the way (below):
“The hardest part was when we both started new relationships. That caused fights between you and I about introducing the kids… We had to literally go to therapy to talk to even get through to be able to communicate together … But eventually it helps when you do the same routines in both houses. Try and keep the same rules so the kids aren’t like, ‘We’re dying to go to dad’s because we get unlimited video game time.'”

Scott later relayed another major challenge he experienced early on in the first days of their new co-parenting dynamic (below):
“The biggest challenge was just trying to figure out how we separate our relationship as friends and parents and still be on the same page. What’s appropriate and what’s not, when to be able to talk to each other.”
Well said!!!
It sure as hell can’t be easy co-parenting as Kourtney and Scott pretty much proved that for years when they were together as a couple, having only recently figured out how to do things the right way for their family, but it’s refreshing to see these two have finally come to some kind of sustainable understanding.
